Cherrey Bus Lines Minor Bantam Warriors Get Two Ties On Weekend
The minor bantams traveled to London on Saturday to play against the GLHA Jr. Mustangs (White). With a penalty filled game Stratford took advantage and got two powerplay goals in the second. First goal came from Tyler Wagler assisted by Cole Lewis and the second from Jacob Hall assisted by Zach McCann. Heading into the third Stratford was down by one, with Tripp Gilbert and Porter Aiken defending off London, Stratford tied it up to make it 3-3 with Hall getting his second of the game assisted by Lewis and Nick Houben. James Cormier Hazen played net for Stratford stopping many shots from London and the defence played well in many shorthanded situations.
Sunday night Stratford was at home playing against the Sarnia Sting and came out with another 2-2 tie. Russel Sebben stood tall in net for Stratford. The Stratford goals came from Aubrey Carter assisted by Ethan Scrimgeour, and Houben unassisted. Defense once again had a great game lead by Issac Deline.
