The Cherrey Bus Line Minor Bantams finished their season last night in Sarnia.
Playing a six point series in the Bristol playoffs, lost 2-0. Russel Sebben playing strong in net and strong defense came from Tripp Gilbert and Matthew Barber. It was a hard fought battle to the end.
The first game was played in Sarnia where Stratford fell 4-2. Sebben playing in between the pipes. Defending the blueline was Issac Deline and Connor McIntosh. Goals came from Aubrey Carter and Cole Lewis, assists from Nick Houben and Zach McCann.
Back in Stratford for game two, James Cormier-Hazen was hot in net with help from defence Porter Aitken. Stratford was up 1-0 in the second with a goal from Jacob Hall and assisted by Lewis. Minutes later Sarnia answered back taking the game to OT, where three minutes in Sarnia scored to win the game.
Sad that the year has come to an end, but the boys have made some new friendships that will last a life time.
