The Stratford Scotiabank Major Peewees defeated the Burlington Cougars 9-2 on Sunday November 11th. Leading the way for Stratford were Mark Pyzowski, Quinn Appel and Cole Humphrey with 2 goals each.
Colten Kuepfer, Beckham McLeod and Jackson Campbell added singles. Pyzowski, Carter Otto and McLeod provided helpers.
On November 18th, Stratford lost 6-1 to the Brantford 99ers. The score was not reflective of the strong effort of the Warriors throughout most of the game. Pyzowski had the lone Stratford goal.
Stratford traveled to Cambridge November 21st. Despite another strong effort, the Warriors came out on the losing end, 3-2. Owen Gaylor scored with a well placed shot from the point. Pyzowski had the other Stratford goal with assists coming from Brett Knechtel, Nathan Gibb and Beckham McLeod.
This past Saturday, the Warriors lost 4-3 to the Waterloo Wolves. Pyzowski had a hat trick with assists to Cole Wilson, Quinn Appel and Carter Otto. On Sunday, the Warriors staged a valiant come back, but lost to the St.Thomas Stars 4-3. Pyzowski and Otto scored for the Warriors. Helpers came from Appel, McLeod, Humphrey and Gabe Emms.
