spotted the Sarnia Sting a 3-0 lead Saturday in Minor Hockey Alliance play at
the rec centre only to storm back with four second period goals eventually
settling for a point in a 4-4 tie.
Despite a 15-7 shot advantage half way through this tilt the Warriors found themselves in the early hole with a Caleb Musselman unassisted break away goal cutting the deficit to two six minutes into period two. A Carter Musselman rebound goal was sandwiched by power play markers from Jack Whitehead and Aiden McMann both from back door feeds from Caleb Musselman to put the home side ahead 4-3 entering the break. Caelan Trupp, Braydon Tinning, Patrick Holloway and Owen Singer added assists. An early Sarnia rebound goal in the third period closed out the scoring resulting in the point for both teams. The Warriors take part in the Spartans Cup on October 12-14 in Lansing Michigan. The Warriors next league game is Tuesday Oct 16 versus St. Thomas at the rec centre.
