The Stratford Warriors played away in London, against the Junior Mustangs White, on Friday, October 10, 2019. The Stratford Atom Rep Warriors are sponsored by Perth Auto Dismantlers.
London went out front in first period scoring ahead of the Warriors.
They added to their lead with another goal in the second.
In the third the warriors cut the lead in half. Rowan Green took a shot on net followed by a rebound by Jake Schultz to score. Jake scored another goal about half way through the second period, tying it up 2-2.
Purple went ahead again at 7 minute mark after a scramble in front of the net. At the 5 minute mark, London regained their 2 goal lead to make it 4-2. Evan Hughes found a loose puck soon after and made it a one goal game again with a slim lead of 4-1.
With the goalie pulled to break out and try for a tie, the Warriors couldnt find the handle to tie up the game. The final score was 4 to 3 for London. Another action packed game with Warriors hustling to very end.
Next game action, is away against The Sarnia Sting, on Sunday. Let's go Warriors!
