Stratford Atom Rep Warriors, Give Thanks, for a big win on Sunday, October 13, 2019 against the Sarnia Sting.
Stratford Atom Rep Warriors, sponsored by Perth Auto Dismantlers brought home a big win on Sunday. 

In the first period, the Warriors displayed fast passing from Will Pepper, Evan Hughes and Caden Ollson. Kieran Johnson pushed tough in front of the net to keep Sarina off the puck. Ty Jackson stayed firm at the boards. Sarina managed to take the lead at the end of the first period by 1 goal.
In the second period, Will Pepper fired a pass to the front of the net for Jake Schultz to shuffle the puck into the Sarnia net at 4:58 to tie the score 1-1.The Warriors played hard during a penalty kill at 2:32. Carter Keating was solid, with sharp glove saves between the pipes. At 1:12 there was 4 on 4 action due to penalties. Griffin Harvey was quick moving on the blue line and kept the puck in play. Graedon Smith tangled with the Sarnia players and kept them out of the Keating's net space. Score remained 1-1 at the end of the second.
The third period saw the Warriors determined to pull ahead. Cam Munro had a breakaway to the net, which lead to some great plays in front of the net. Rowan Green and Owen Blackburn attempted to get the puck between the pipes with some amazing shots. Not long after, Ollson made a quick pass to Evan Hughes for the 2nd point at 14:58. After a quick faceoff, Reid Morris found the back of the net to move up 3-1 at 14:43.
Stratford gained power on a Sarnia penalty and worked to get the puck down the ice. Nate Van Bakel dug hard into the holds on the boards, digging the puck out to his line. Piers Murray blocked Sarnia from completing their passes.
At 7:56 it was 4 on 4 due to penalties. At 2:46 Sarina pulled their goalie to try to add to their points. With 53 seconds left, Rowan Green sealed the game win, with an empty net goal. Jack Bannon cheered his teammates onto a long weekend win and he looks forward to hitting the ice with his team mates in the near future!
Stratford Atom Rep Warriors came home with a 4-1 win! 
 
Next action is on Thursday, October 17 at home,  against the Mitchell Meteors at 5:30 for an Exhibition game.
