Minor Peewee Warriors Face Tough Loss Against Cambridge
The Royal LePage Hiller Realty Minor Peewee Stratford Warriors were on the road to Cambridge, for a midweek game. The Warriors unfortunately struggled to get any momentum going, which caused the Cambridge Hawks team to get ahead in the second period with 3-1. Goal for Stratford in the second was from #11 Nathan Slaght, assisted by #6 Tessa Burdett and #9 Rylan DeBoeck.
Though the music playlist was spectacular, there were many pauses in the game due to penalties, clock errors and injuries, which was a contributing factor to the slow pace. The Warriors had many shots on net totaling 25 to Cambridge’s 22. Our second goal for Stratford was at 4:33 in the 3rdperiod by #15 Colton Brenzil, assisted by #5 Owen Bridges. The Warriors look forward to the weekend where they meet up with the Knights and the 99ers.
