The ‘07 Major Peewee Rep team, sponsored by Scotiabank grabbed two points with a win over the Cambridge Hawks on Thursday night.
The Hawks and the Warriors went to battle in Stratford with the Warriors coming away with a 4-2 victory. Early in the second Stratford nabbed one off a rocket from Grady Murphy, assisted by Blair Stokes and Ryan Gansevles. Meanwhile netminder Ryan McGill came up a massive glove save late in the period to keep the Hawks off the board. Cambridge scored the equalizer with seven minutes left in the third but Stratford’s Dawson White responded quickly, assisted by Colin Schultz, giving the Warriors a brief 2-1 lead.
