On Saturday, the Stratford Warriors Minor Bantam Rep team headed to Brantford to take on the 99ers. A physical game shortened Stratford’s bench but the tenacious Warriors never let up. Scoring for Stratford in the 6-3 loss were; Mark Pyzowski, Gabe Emms and Beckham McLeod, assists going to Nate Framst, Mark Pyzowski and Owen Gaylor.
On Sunday, Stratford hosted the St Thomas Stars which was another physical game. An already short bench got a little shorter but once again the Warriors dug deep. The boys played with intensity and displayed excellent puck control but fell 7-6 to the Stars. Scoring for Stratford were; Dylan Fischer, Kaleb Martin, Nathan Gibb, Nate Framst, Cole Humphrey and Jericho McNichol, assists going to Ben Fizell, Nate Framst (2), Kaleb Martin and Brett Knechtel.
Next weekend the Minor Bantam squad will play in the Stratford Early Bird Tourney.
