February 15th The Stratford minor bantam warriors took to the ice to face the Brantford 99ers in game one of their playoff series. Both teams came to the game with a will to win. Stratford opened scoring mid-way through the first period on a power play.

Owen Gaylor picking the puck up at Stratford's blue line, going end to end and found Ben Fizell wide open to pound one into the back of Brantford's net. Both teams battled back and forth, Stratford was playing exceptional defense as was Brantford. Early in the second period Stratford's Ben Fizell and Dylan Fischer, found the back of the net to make a 3-0 game. Brantford started to push back throwing shots on net, and outshooting Stratford 19-15. Brantford scored looking for a comeback to make it a 3-1 game. Jesse Merkel playing some sensational goaltending, shutting down Brantford, and the Warriors going home with the victory. Stratford will take on Brantford at the Duff gardens Sunday February 16.  Assists on goals were Owen Gaylor, Mark Pyzowski and Quinn Appel

February 16th Stratford minor bantam Warriors hosted the Brantford 99ers at the Duff Gardens. Brantford looking to comeback and tie the series, came to the game with a strong intent to win. Both teams started off the game with good puck movement and shut down defense. Brantford would later in the first period find Jesse Merkel's five hole to go up 1-0. Stratford now shorted handed and pushing back with forward Mark Pyzowski blasting a hard wrist shot from the slot to tie the game 1-1. Both Stratford and Brantford played a hard-physical game. Duff Gardens was packed full with fans and the building was filled with energy. Stratford's forward Gabe Emms ripped an absolute snipe top corner to put Stratford in the lead. Later in the dying minutes of the game both teams at a tie 2-2. Mark Pyzowski dangles through Brantford defenseman and pots a back hander top corner to give Stratford the win. Assists on goals were Dylan Fischer and Nater Framst.
February 18 Stratford will be going down to Brantford 99ers territory looking to end the series.
