The Stratford Warriors Canadian Tire Major Bantam Rep Team took on the Burlington Jr. Cougars White at the Allman arena on Saturday, Sept 21. The Cougars got out to a 2-0 lead in the 1st period although the Warriors had their chances they could not find the back of the net. The 2nd period did not disappoint, the Warriors came out and out-played and out-chanced the Cougars but could not get on the scoreboard. Liam Parsons was busy in net, but was able to keep the Warriors in the game. The 3rd period saw the Cougars get a bounce on the power play to go up 3-0. In the dying minutes of the game the Warriors break the shutout from a blistering shot from the point from Luke Heisz to make it 3-1. That would be the final score. The team played hard and never gave up. Next up Jr Mustangs White on Sunday at Bostwick arena.
