November brings snow and some Warriors wins

The Stratford Warriors Canadian Tire Bantam Rep team played host to the Woodstock Jr Navy Vets Tuesday November 5th at the Rotary Complex.
The Navy Vets would come out and score 3 unanswered goals, but the Warriors would get on the board with a pass out front from Karson Stokke for a one timer from Sam Jeffrey, 3-1. Woodstock would counter shortly after to make it 4-1, end of the 1st period. Halfway through the 2nd Wes Duiker wired a shot from the point and Kaden Brame redirects it in to make it 4-2. Five minutes later Noah Hoffer pots one from in front to make it 4-3. Woodstock would capitalize on a loose puck to make it 5-3 at the end of the 2nd period. Liam Parsons made some timely saves to keep the Warriors in the game. The Warriors came out with a mission in the 3rd and Ethan Dam would grab a rebound on the power play to make it 5-4. The final score would be Woodstock 6 and the Warriors 4. The Warriors should be proud of the effort that everyone put forth and use this game as a step in the right direction. Next game versus Hamilton Huskies in Hamilton on Saturday November 9th. 
 
 
The Stratford Warriors Canadian Tire Bantam Reps travelled to Hamilton on Saturday, November 9th to take on the Hamilton Huskies. During the 1st period both teams were trying to get something going and Hamilton would strike first and the Warriors would go into the 2nd period down 1-0. The Warriors would fight back tying it up with a beautiful wrap around from Danny Van Stratten who picked the top corner to make it 1-1. The Huskies would respond with 4 goals to make it 5-1 starting the 3rd period. Ethan Pearce would gain the zone and rip a bullet over the goalies shoulder to make it 5-2. The next game for the Warriors is in London against the Mustangs Sunday at 2pm. Lets go Warriors!
 
The Stratford Warriors Canadian Tire Rep team hoped to wrap the weekend up with a good game versus the London Jr Mustangs in London. The Warriors would go down 1-0 early in the first and the Ethan Pearce would  wheel around in the mustangs end and rip one top corner to make it a tie game 1-1. London would counter with 2 goals to go up 3-1. The Warriors were on a power play and Danny Van Startten would make a sweet pass to Ethan Pearce who would  find the back of the net again to make it 3-2. And the Warriors would go into intermission down 3-2. The 3rd period the Warriors would come out and take it to the Mustangs, Kaden Brame would get a pass from Nathan Williams and rip on home to make it a tie game at 3-3. Then Noah Hoffer with some nice moves would deke out the mustangs defence and make it 4-3! The Warriors would get another one from a blast from Sam Jeffrey to make it a 5-3 final for the Warriors! Way to go Warriors!! What a way to finish the weekend. Keep it up in the Regular Season boys!!!
