The Stratford Warriors Canadian Tire Bantam Reps played their final regular season games this weekend vs Cambridge and then take on Burlington Cougars Royal.
The Warriors had a tough night vs Cambridge and Danny Van Straaten would score the loan goal for the Warriors as they skated to a 6-1 loss.
The Warriors would look to rebound in the final regular season game vs Burlington. And the team did in a big way! In the 1st period Noah Hoffer would score on a scramble in front to make it 1-0 and shortly after that Ethan Pearce would score on his own rebound to make it 2-0. In the 2nd Burlington would make it 2-1. But Owen Holloway would make it 3-1 with a beauty goal on the powerplay. Sam Jeffrey would let a wrister go and find the back of the net to make it 4-1. Noah Hoffer would get his 2nd of the night on another powerplay and make it 5-1 Warriors! The 3rd would see Burlington come out and get another one, to make it 5-2. Noah Hoffer would redirect in another one to give Noah a Hat Trick in the game, and making it 6-2. In the dying minute, Zach Richardson would battle in front and collect a rebound to make it a 7-2 final!
The Warriors are looking to keep rolling as they are set to take on London Mustangs Purple in the first round of the playoff! Go Warriors Go!
