The Stratford Warriors Canadian Tire Bantam Reps travelled to London for game 1 vs Mustangs Purple on Saturday Feb 15. The Warriors came out flying! Ethan Pearce would get the Warriors on the board with a bullet top corner to make it 1-0! Shortly after Danny Van Straaten would bury a nice pass from Noah Hoffer from behind the net to make it 2-0 Stratford! The 2nd period was a hard fought period with lots of back and forth. And with Thomas Sheldon in net making some big saves to keep the Mustangs off the score board. In the 3rd Kaden Brame would split the defence and pick the corner to make it 3-0. However, the Mustangs would battle back and take the lead with 4 unanswered goals!! In the last seconds Sam Jeffrey would find the back of the net after a scramble in front to tie the game 4-4. In the 5 minute overtime Sheldon shut the door and the Warriors had their chances but couldn't solve the Mustangs goalie. Game one would end in a tie after a rollercoaster performance. The Warriors look to regroup and come out strong Sunday Feb 16 at 6:30pm at Allman! Lets Go Boys!
