kept their winning streak alive after a week-long break, beating the Brantford
99ers at home on Sunday night and the Woodstock Jr Navy Vets on the road Monday
night.
On Sunday at the Allman, with Kyle Powers in net, the Warriors shut out the 99ers. Luke Gaylor, Riley Mathieson and Ben Wyatt all scored in the first period. The score was 5-0 after the 2nd period, after goals from Patrick Holloway and Adam Windsor. Cohen LeSouder and Holloway scored in the 3rd to make it a 7-0 win. Contributing with assists were Holloway, Caleb Musselman, Noah Rusen-Steele, Tate Gaylor, Windsor, Aiden McMann, and Jared LeSouder.
Stratford defeated the Jr Navy Vets in Woodstock by a score of 6-1. The Vets beat goalie Carson Knott only once, on the power play. Stratford’s scorers were Mathieson, Luke Gaylor, Musselman, Cohen LeSouder and Tate Gaylor with 2. Holloway, Wyatt, McMann, Tate Gaylor, Rusen-Steele and Braydon Tinning had the assists.
The Warriors sit atop the Alliance standings with a 15-0-2 record and play next in Sarnia on Saturday.
