The Stratford Jr Warriors Midget team earned 4 points on the weekend and remain atop the Alliance standings, 7 points ahead of the 2nd place London Jr Knights.

On Saturday night in Stratford, the Warriors faced off against the GLHA Jr Mustangs White team.  After a slow start, Braydon Tinning put the Warriors on the scoreboard after he backhanded one past the London keeper. Caelan Trupp assisted on the play.  Goalie Carson Knott faced a flurry of shots in the last minute of the first period but the score remained 1-0 after one.  In the 2nd period, Jared LeSouder carried the puck behind the London net and passed it out front to Adam Windsor who gave Stratford a 2-0 lead.  LeSouder then scored a power play goal, assisted by Patrick Holloway and Tate Gaylor.  Ben Wyatt scored his first of two goals after a nice passing play when he and Holloway went 2-on-1 against a London defender.  Trupp also assisted on the goal.  Noah Rusen-Steele then found Carter Musselman in front of the London net to make it 5-0.   Wyatt scored again in the 3rd frame, assisted by Holloway and Callan Ferguson, to give the Warriors the 6-0 win.
