The Holloway Auto Parts Plus U10 Rep Team dance their way into the Stronach Arena, Friday evening for a 6:30P.M puck drop.

After a couple tough battles in Silverstick, the coaches made a decision to shake things up with a few line changes. Owen Hurley started things off with an end to end skate early in the period, that got the rhythm flowing for the Warriors. First period the boys collected a few penalties, giving the Jr Mustangs a chance to tie things up. With a quick chat from the bench the boys were hard at it in the second. Coleton Schmidt stole a puck at centre ice, made a quick poke ahead and started his breakaway, netting a crisp shot to put the Warriors in the lead. Andrew Hodgins made a calculated back pass at the blue line to Hurley, who weaved through the Mustangs, clearing a top shelf shot to put the score board at 3-1. Warriors took on a couple more penalties back to back, forcing them to push through short handed for 6minutes, the boys took on the challenge and prevailed! Marcus Atkinson was awarded 'Hardest Worker of the Game', with his aggressive play stopping the Purple at the blue line, cycling the puck, pinching the boards and keeping his head up.
With a mad scramble in front of the net, Josef Moss waited patiently on the edge, picking off a rebound to net the fourth goal. Schmidt's persistence on every puck kept the avalanche of offence going when he launched a clear shot to light up the board again. Nate Micks ended the period with a quick poke of the puck on the Jr Mustangs goaltenders office to end the period 6-2.
Third period picked up, where the second ended with Hurley netting two goals, one low shot stick side and another zig zag, end to end rush through the Mustangs, unassisted. Schmidt ended the game with a beauty sharp angled shot, hitting the top right corner to give the Warriors the W.
