Warriors move on to round 2
Warriors take game 2 and move on to round 2 vs top seed Kitchener.
Game 2 saw the warriors travel to London where they continued to roll vs London Knights White looking to make it 3 games in a row and onto the next round. The first period was full of nerves and saw no scoring. 5 minutes into the second the Warriors got a goal from Carson Lubbers on a rebound off a Caleb Hurley shot to go up 1-0. Luke Hishon would score on a bang, bang play from Ethan Schmidt to go up 2-0 with 1:40 left in the second. However, the knight roared back with a goal at 1:17 and 0:41, to tie it 2-2 at the end of 2.
It didn't take long in the 3rd for the Warriors to get back on the horse as Ryder Duchesne scored 5 minutes in on a rebound. With six and a half remaining Owen Martin scored on the powerplay on a sweet cross ice feed from Schmidt. Schmidt put the game away a minute and a half later with an unassisted shorthanded maker to make it 5-2 and take the series 2-0.
