Warriors Tie at Home
The Cherrey Bus Lines Stratford Warriors faced off against Burlington Jr Raiders Black on Sunday night.

The Warriors capitialized just 8 seconds into the hockey game with the "Sling Shot" catching the Raiders defense flat footed. Cole Hishon executed the face off perfectly while Colton Brenzil utilized his speed to net the Warriors first goal of the game. Burlington responded with two goals of their own, but the Warriors wouldn't give up. Brenzil tied the game with his second of the night on a wrap around, assisted by Timothy Kraayenbrink and Blake Lalande, notching the game at 2's early in the 2nd period. Burlington answered back and took the lead 3-2 late into the 2nd period. Stratford took advantage of a flood between the 2nd and 3rd periods to regroup. The Warriors came into the third period like true "Warriors", down by two players, they battled hard for the puck and showed their force along the boards. With less than 5 mins left in the game and the crowd on their feet, Blake Lalande cut across the left wing and went top shelf on the Burlington netminder. Duff Gardens erupted with cheers as the Warriors tied the game.
The Warriors remain undefeated this season.
On Oct 30th, the Warriors will travel to London to play the London Jr Mustangs White.
Go Warriors!
