"We didn't lose the game; we just ran out of time"
This past weekend, the Straight Forward Sales Stratford Warrior U15BB team competed in the Alliance Hockey BB-B Championship Tournament hosted by CYO Minor Hockey.
The team worked really hard to get to this tournament finishing second overall in their tier.
The semi finals against Burlington Bulldogs Red ended in a disappointing loss, however the team finished THIRD overall. Considering their bumpy start to the season, and a few setbacks along the way, the coaching staff turned things around and motivated these boys to succeed, regardless of the outcome of this weekend.
Congratulations to the Sarnia Jr Stings for winning the Championship U15B Tournament.
Although it's tough to end the season this way, our players should be proud of how they improved together both on and off the ice, keeping their composure when needed, and representing our team name to the fullest.
Stratford Minor Hockey should be proud of these boys and their coaches for an amazing season and job well done!
