The Stratford Best Western-The Parlour Warriors continued their 10 game round robin playoff round this past weekend, coming away with only one of a possible four points and seeing their record fall to 1-1-1.
Saturday in London, a late goal with just over two minutes remaining by the hometown Nationals, snatched victory from the Warriors, as they settled for a 2-2 tie. Scoring for the Warriors was Jake Emerson and Ethan Reid, with Mac Starkebaum and Josh Smith picking up assists.
Stratford returned home Sunday to host the top place regular season team, the Sarnia Sting, and came out on the losing end of a close 3-2 score. Caelen Eveleigh and Andrew Ivey were the Warrior goal scorers on this day, with assists going to Marcus Nicholson and call up Riley Mathieson.
