James and Shantz Lead Warriors!
Haydn Shantz scored 2 and Jared James shut the door in net as the Stratford Sci Contractors Minor Bantam MD Warriors sent the Sarnia Sting home with a 3-2 loss in Stratford on Tuesday night. Brett Stelmachuk opened the scoring for Stratford on a low hard shot off the left wing. Sarnia evened the score before Shantz banged home a rebound to restore the Warrior lead. Once again Sarnia battled back opening the door for some late game heroics. Shantz was sprung loose down the left wing making no mistake with just over a minute left in the game. James made several key saves throughout the game giving the Warriors a chance. Aaron Skinner was tough to play against at the back end while Noah Trudgeon and Liam Taylor generated several opportunities offensively.
