Strong Start in Game vs London West Hawks
Hishons Custom Novice Tier 1 Warriors lost 3 games this weekend.

On Thursday, December 18, the Warriors lost to the North London Nationals 12-0 in London.  Defensively, Eric Haynes effectively used his stick to get pucks away from the opponents as well as stopping pucks in front of the net and Colton Kuepfer was skating hard and back-checking well. Ryan Haines created some offense with a couple of great hard shots on the net.

 

The Warriors worked hard but lost 12-2 to the London West Hawks on Saturday at the Allman.  Starting the game with some zest, Isaac Nickel scored in the first minute of play with assists recorded for Nathan Gibb and Gabe Emms.  Owen Gaylor showed his speed and had a great breakaway opportunity.  Marek Carter was skating hard and working the boards.  By the end of the second, the score was only 4-1.  In the third, Gabe Emms scored with assists to Brett Knechtel and Isaac Nickel.  Josh Duiker was awesome in net, making many great saves including a glove save from a puck flipped up high to the net.

 

On Sunday, the Warriors lost to the North London Nationals by a score of 9-1.  It was only 5-0 after the second period.  In the third, Isaac Nickel scored the lone Warriors goal, assisted by Gabe Emms.  Offensively, Noah Roth was skating hard and had many nice passes including one from behind the net.  Defensively, Kaleb Martin was working hard, playing the man effectively to prevent shots at the net.  The goalie, Jesse Merkel, made some fantastic saves for the Warriors.
