Warriors bounce back with two wins
On Thursday, the Warriors traveled to London to play the Oakridge Aeros. The team had been going through a bit of a rough stretch, but finally righted the ship with their first win in 5 games, a 8-4 decision. The first period seen Aaron Jones score a nice goal with the assist going to Tyson Cassone. Early in the second frame, Matthew Benner potted another for the Warriors with line mates Dylan Abel and Ellis Schnurr helping out.

Shortly after Benner's goal, Liam Ollson scored on the power play with Cassone drawing his second assist of the game. Rowan Smith from Liam Eddleston and Logan Hallock from Ollson rounded out the second period scoring. Sam Binns scored early in the third period with the assist to Rowan Smith. Schnurr had an unassisted tally 15 seconds later and Ollson scored a beauty with Hallock and Scrimgeour aiding in the tic tac toe passing play. The Warrior defencemen lead by Zach Scrimgeour, Zach Schultz and Cassone played a great game at both ends of the ice. Owen Chadwick also played well making the shift from forward to defence half way through the game.
On Saturday the Warriors were in London again, this time to play the North London Nationals.
Sam Binns got the team on the score sheet first with the assist to Rowan Smith. Ellis Schnurr scored to make it 2-0 for the Warriors with Zach Scrimgeour and Matthew Benner getting the helpers. The second period seen Abel score with Schnurr assisting and the Warriors taking a 3-0 lead to the third period. In the third period, Smith scored from Binns, Scrimgeour buried his first of the year from Liam Ollson, Binns with an unassisted marker, Dylan Abel from Logan Hallock and Binns from Owen Chadwick and Scrimgeour finished the game. Both Brody Cowen and Lachlan Stanley played a great game between the pipes for the Warriors.
