Rheo Thompsom Tier 3 East Novice Warriors Continue to Come Together.
This past weekend the Rheo Thompson Tier 3 East Novice Warriors again presented themselves with some major improvement as a team.

The first game of the weekend had the boys travel to visit the North London Nationals. This game was looking really good for the boys as they jumped out to a 1-0 lead on a sure goal by Hudsyn Chaput, who put it top shelf from the slot, with the helper going to Rem Hruden who was able to find the puck in the scrum. The Warriors held the 1-0 lead for the first half of the game until the Nationals finally solved Noah Brooks ( affiliate goalie ) for the East Warriors. The Nationals found the back of the net a few more times in the 2nd but the Warriors did not want to give up. Andrew Davis answered back for the Warriors in the 3rd, with the assists going to Mason Bauld and Maddyx Chaput. The boys came away with a win in the 1st period and tie in the 3rd although the final score was Nationals 7 and Warriors 2. The 3 stars of the game today were Rem Hruden, Mason Bauld and helper goalie Noah Brooks.

The second game of the weekend had a determined group of boys step on the bus to face the Brantford team who beat them 15-2 last time they visited Stratford. Taking the improvements from last weekend and the winning efforts from Saturdays game, the boys were able to jump out to the lead for a second time this weekend. Maddyx Chaput made no mistake on the doorstep to bury the rebound on a hard shot from Mason Bauld. The boys held the lead until half way through the period, until Brantford answered back to tie the game 1-1. The second period was full of energy and chances by both teams and the Warriors held to their name showing Brantford a great battle. They rest of the game stayed close with the Warriors trailing 3 -1 right up to the half way mark of the 3rd period when Brantford netted another. The final score was Brantford 6 and Warriors 1. The Warriors 3 stars of the game were Nash McIlroy, Ethan Pristap and Hudsyn Chaput was the first star of the game. Noah Brooks again played well for the Warriors who were without their #1 goalie Jake Taylor.

Next action for the East Warriors will be a trip to Waterloo Saturday November 28th.
