Tier 3 East Novice Warriors Tough Weekend
The Rheo Thompson Tier 3 East Novice Warriors had 2 losses on the weekend. Saturday they travelled to St. Catherines and Sunday hosted Cambridge Red Hawks.

The first game on Saturday was looking really good for the Warriors as they jumped out to an early lead on a goal by Maddyx Chaput, assisted by Blake McIntosh. St. Catherines tied the game at the 3:54 mark of the 1st period only to have M.Chaput jump the Warriors back to the lead. Liam Benton was the helper on the goal. The 2nd period was dominated by the boys and was looking like everything was going well when Liam Benton put the Warriors up by a score of 3-1 on a nice feed from Hudsyn Chaput to end the 2nd period. St.Catherines then came alive in the 3rd to overtake the boys by a score of 12-3.
 
Sunday had the Rheo Thompson Warriors took on the 2nd place Cambridge Red Hawks, a Tier 2 team rebalanced to the Tier 3 division. Although the Hawks were older and much bigger than the boys, they did play a solid game with a much improved effort from Saturday's 3rd period against St.Catherines and were able to hold Cambridge to a mere 1-0 lead after the 1st period. Cambridge would score 4 more in each of the 2nd and 3rd periods to defeat Stratford. The player of the game for the Warriors was Hudsyn Chaput would showed a consistent high level of compete the entire game.
 
Next action for the East Warriors will be in the Hawks Cup hosted by Mitchell held the 1st weekend in January.
