Stratford Warriors Minor PeeWee MD Against Kitchener Jr Rangers
Stratford Warriors Minor PeeWee MD faced off against a top seeded Kitchener Rangers in an upsetting 6-0 loss. Stratford kept the first period 0-0 tie with excellent goaltending by Matt Reed.
It was a great start to the second period but the boys could not keep the Rangers off the scoreboard as scored their first goal 6 minutes into the second. After a few unlucky bounces the second period ended with the 4-0 Rangers. In the start of the third, the Rangers replied with 2 more quick goals, leading the Warriors coaching staff to call a time out with 8 minutes remaining. This proved to be a great decision as the Warriors finished strong holding them off for further scoring chances throughout the last 8 minutes. Good Effort Warriors! ~written by Jeff Iacobellis
