Minor PeeWee MD Week in Review
The All Equip Minor Pee Wee MD faced both Waterloo Wolves
and the Burlington Bulldogs with in Stratford this past week.
Thursday Nov 10 the team faced the Waterloo Wolves with the lone goal scored by Corey Jones assisted by Zachery Richardson. Although they played with intensity throughout the entire game the, Wolves stole back a goal with 45 seconds remaining in the 3rd period for a 2-1 win. Saturday Nov 12 Burlington Bulldogs were out in front early in the game with a 2-0 lead after the first period. Cole Iacobellis, assisted by Jacob Boyer, helped close the gap in the second period and with less than two minutes remaining Ethan Dam scored leaving the Bulldogs with a 3-2 lead. The fight continued throughout the third period as the Wolves started to pull farther ahead but Conor Davis, assisted by Liam Hill, responded with a 3rd goal for the Warriors. In the final minutes, Stratford pulled the goalie to close the 2 point lead but with 11 seconds remaining the Bulldogs secured a 6-3 win overall.
