Peewees Bring Home Silver From Orillia
Scotia Bank Peewee Rep. Warriors bring home the silver medal from the Orillia tournament over the weekend.

The warriors went undefeated in the 3 round robin games beating, Timmins North Stars in the first game 3-1. Cole Lewis with 1 goal and 1 assist, Nole Musselman and Chadd Langlands with 1 goal each and single assists going to Tanner Meinen, Anthony Guznivec and Zach McCann. Russel Sebben only allowed one goal in the game and Porter Aitken played some stingy defence with Ethan Scrimgeour being relentless with end to end plays.

In the second game the Warriors defeated Orillia Terriers 4-0. Chadd Langlands 2 goals and 1 assist, Cole Lewis 1 goal 2 assists, Zach McCann 2 assists, Jacob Hall 1 goal.  James Cormier-Hazen earned the shutout and Connor McIntosh played aggressive on defence. Matthew Barber and Aubrey Carter were solid up front.

The Final round robin game was a win, 2-1, against Welland. Chadd Langlands and Cole Lewis each with a goal and an assist and Zach McCann also added an assist. Russell Sebben holding the win in net. Isaac Deline and Sam Bolger played some stellar stay home defence.

The Warriors then suffered a 4-1 loss in the championship game on Sunday to the other undefeated team, Temiskaming Shores Puckhounds. The Puckhounds capitalized on the many Warrior penalties with 3 powerplay goals, ultimately costing the Warriors the win. Nole Musselman with the lone goal from Kaleb Schalk and Jacob Hall. James Cormier-Hazen played outstanding with 30 + shots against.
