Peewees with a Tie and a Loss This Weekend
Scotia Bank Peewee Warriors played their first 2 games of "A" action this weekend with a tie and a loss.
Saturday the Warriors managed a comeback tie, 5-5 against Sarnia Sting. The game was a battle back kind of game with the Warriors stuck killing penalties for a good portion of it. Cole Lewis earned a hat trick and an assist (2 of his goals were shorthanded). Chadd Langlands helped out with 1 goal on a wicked slapshot from inside the blue line as well as assisted on a goal by Kaleb Schalk. Ethan Scrimgeour fought hard killing penalties and earned an assist on Lewis's first shorty. Porter Aitken also earned an assist on the Langlands goal.
Sunday's game was a tough loss to St.Thomas Stars 4-1. The lone goal scored by Cole Lewis from Kaleb Schalk and Zach McCann.
