Peewees split games on weekend
Scotiabank Peewee Warriors split their games this weekend travelling to London, defeating them 4-2 and then losing to Brantford Sunday 6-2.

On Saturday in London Ethan Scrimgeour scored the opening goal, hammering in a rebound from Porter Aitken who was fed the puck from Chadd Langlands. Jacob Hall then scored on a pass from behind the net by Cole Lewis to put the Warriors up 2-0. A London power play put them within 1 and eventually London tied it up before the end of the second. James Cormier-Hazen made the game changing save on a penalty shot and then Jacob Hall and Cole Lewis scrambled the puck out front for Zach McCann to smash in the winning goal. Sam Bolger and Porter Aitken fought to clear the puck up the middle for Aubrey Carter to fire the insurance goal into the open net.

On Sunday the Warriors took too many penalties and ran into a hot goalie, suffering a 6-2 loss to the Brantford 99ers. Down 4-0, Nole Musselman found some hot hands, firing in a rebound from Chadd Langlands with an assist also to Tanner Meinen. Musselman again, for the 2nd goal, found the 5 hole on a break away with the lead pass from Langlands. Isaac Deline and Connor McIntosh played some solid defense all weekend to help the Warrior net minders.
