Major Atom Rep Warriors Lead Semi-Final Series
The Perth Auto Dismantlers Major Atom Rep Warriors have won game one and game two in the semi final battle of the AA division.

Game one of the 8 point series against the London Jr Knights White team went to the Warriors who skated away with a 3-0 win at home.  Net minder Sippel was large and in charge with countless big saves throughout the game! After a scoreless first period, Stratford finally found the back of the net when Carter Petrie fed one to Nathan Siebert who slid the puck over the line.   Moments later Dawson White fired a rocket up top, assisted by Dylan Abel and Petrie.  Strong defence from Aaron Green,  Zach Schultz, Blake Hodgson, Ryan Gansevles and Rylan Hall kept the London snipers off the board.  The third period saw the lone goal coming from Petrie, assisted by Austin Musselman and Lukas Steele.

The Warriors hit the road on Saturday for Game 2, fired up and ready to go.  It was a battle until the final whistle.  With end to end action Petrie finally opened the scoring to close out the first period, assisted by Blair Stokes.  But London answered back with one of their own, sliding one past Ryan McGill and tying the game 1-1.  In the opening moments of the third period the Knights took a brief lead of 2-1 but Grady Murphy powered through the London defence to tie the game 2-2, assisted by Colin Schultz.  With London in the box the boys went to work and were able to grab the go ahead goal with a scramble in front of the net from Stokes, assisted by Schultz and Green.  Penalty trouble to close out the game lead to some tense moments but McGill and his boys were able to hang on for the win.

Next Action:  The Warriors host the Knights Thursday Feb 22 @ 7:00, RBC.
