The Stratford Scotiabank Major PeeWee AA's continued to show why they successfully made the AA loop with a convincing 5-2 victory over Burlington to tie the six point series at 4.
Facing elimination from OHF Playdowns, the Bankers showed their collective mettle with another total team effort. Despite being scored on just 27 seconds into the game, the 'never-say-die' attitude of the players resulted in Kelton Frey tying the game before the period was over. Colton Fountain, playing his best overall game of the year, assisted on the tally. Fountain counted a hat trick along with another assist as Stratford scored three third period goals. James Wilson was the other marksman. Shaun Pickering had two helpers with Joe Yundt and Frey contributing singles. Wes Keutsch and Dalton Carde had solid two-way games for Stratford. Game 5 goes in Burlington on Tuesday.
