1-1 Week-end, News, Major Atom Rep, U10-U11 (Atom), 2016-2017 (Stratford Minor Hockey Association)

The Stratford Perth Auto Dismantlers Major Atoms went 1-1 over the Thanksgiving week-end. On Saturday the team hosted the St. Thomas Stars and skated away with a 7-1 victory. Leading the offense was Gabe Emms, Ryan Haines, and Mark Pyzowski each with 2 goals. Brett Knechtel scored a single. Assists were earned by Isaac Nickel, Marek Carter, Nathaniel Smith, Quinn Appel, Ethan Plotnik, Jackson Grasby, Emms, and Knechtel.


A very strong London Green team came to town on Sunday. The game was kept close for the first two periods by some key saves from goaltender Koen Gerber. It was 2-1 heading into the third period, on a goal from Ryan Haines. Despite the team's efforts, the game ended up 5-1.

The boys travel to St. Thomas this upcoming week-end to participate in their first tournament of the year.
