Busy Week-end for Major Atoms
The Perth Auto Dismanters Major Atoms played three games this past week-end.
They opened up in Burlington on Friday night with a 5-2 victory over the Bulldogs. Mark Pyzowski led the offense, scoring the first three goals. Nathaniel Smith and Isaac Nickel rounded out the scoring. Sam Pepper earned 4 assists with singles going to Brett Knechtel and Smith.

On Saturday the team hosted Sarnia Sting for the first time this season and were on the losing end by a score of 6-3. Ryan Haines opened the scoring for Stratford with an assist to Gabe Emms. Nickel scored a power-play goal, assited by Knechtel and Quinn Appel. Smith scored the third goal with assists to Knechtel and Ethan Plotnik.

The team then faced a very strong London White squad on Sunday and were again on the losing end, 6-3. The boys fell behind early and were losing 2-0 after the first period. Stratford got on the board in the second period on a goal from Nickel, with a helper to Appel. Pyzowski tied the game 2-2 early in the third, assisted by Pepper and Smith. Pepper rounded out the scoring late in the third, unassisted. The defensive core of Nathan Gibb, Marek Carter, Caleb Martin, Beckham McLeod, Colten Kuepfer, and Jackson Grasby worked hard to limit London's chances throughout the game.
