On Tuesday, April 16th, SMHA held their year-end banquet to highlight the accomplishments of the past hockey season.SMHA is honoured to celebrate the contributions of lifetime board member Jack McNaughton by renaming the annual SMHA Silver Stick tournament to the “Jack McNaughton Stratford Regional Silver Stick Tournament”.
Jack has chaired the tournament committee for several years and through his hard work and dedication the tournament has been a great success.
To celebrate the new name Jack, his wife Nancy (also a lifetime SMHA member) and Jack’s family were invited to unveil the new tournament banner.
This year’s tournament will run from Nov 1st to 3rd.

U10AA – Alliance Champions
U11 – Alliance Silver Medalists

Ron Shaw (U12) – Owen Hurley
Next season will begin with Spring tryouts for the U10 to U16 teams beginning on April 27th. As well, SMHA will be hosting U8/U9 interest skates on May 4th and 5th. Please check the tryout tab or each team’s calendar on SMHA’s website for dates and times.
