It is with very heavy hearts that we share with our SMHA hockey family the passing of Jack McNaughton.
Jack was a lifetime member of the Stratford Minor Hockey Association Board where he served as President for two terms. He was involved with SMHA for over three decades, most notably with the Annual Rotary/Minor Hockey Christmas Tournament in which he was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow Award for Volunteerism. The tournament then changed to a Regional Silverstick Qualifier that Jack was chairperson of for many years. The tournament was renamed in 2024 to the Jack McNaughton Regional Silver Stick Tournament in his honor.
