Stratford Minor Hockey would like to remind parents and players of a number of upcoming hockey items. We look forward to seeing everyone at the year-end banquet and at tryouts in a few weeks...
BANQUET
Just a reminder that the SMHA Year-End Banquet is being held Tuesday, April 14th at 6pm at the Rotary Complex. Players and staff are complimentary. Family and friends may purchase tickets by calling Melissa Rintoul at 519-301-5166 or emailing [email protected].
2004 BIRTH YEAR AND YOUNGER PLAYERS
Just a reminder that spring tryouts begin April 27th and according to NEW Alliance policy, all players born in 2004 or after require one parent or guardian from each household to complete "Respect in Sport Parent Version" in order for their child to be signed to an Alliance roster. This applies to all levels... MD, A, AA, AAA. If your child plans on playing representative hockey this year (at any level), please be sure to complete the course and link your child to your completed certificate (under "Child Management") prior to tryouts. MANDATORY BODY CHECKING CLINIC FOR ALL 2002 BIRTH YEAR PLAYERS
Sunday, April 26th from 4:30pm until 7:30pm at the Stratford Rotary Complex. All 2002 birth year players and goaltenders must attend. Parents are welcome to attend the Classroom Segment.
Classroom Segment: 4:30-6:00pm in the Tim Taylor Lounge
On-Ice Segment: 6:00-7:30pm on the Molson Pad (Full Equipment Required)
BUSSING INFORMATION SESSION
SMHA often gets asked why we offer bussing as part of our registration and what the costs are of bussing to and from away games. To address the questions parents may have, we will be holding an information session on Thursday April 16 at 7:00pm in the Tim Taylor Lounge at the Stratford Rotary Complex. All are welcome to attend.
