Midgets Best North London
Following a disappointing performance against Oakridge on Thursday night, the Major Midgets exacted some revenge downing North London 3-1 Friday, led by the solid backstopping of Cian Patterson-March. Trailing by a goal after one, Stratford got on the board early in the 2nd on a goal by Jake Near, then pulled ahead after Greg Williams fed a precision pass to Ben Champion who wasted no time picking the top corner. Heading into the 3rd Stratford found itself in penalty trouble, but battled through and pulled ahead 3-1 when Jacob Elliott stepped into one inside the blue-line and buried it top shelf.
