Bantams 3-1-1 in Waterloo Memorial Tournament
The Canadian Tire Major Bantams had a good showing on the weekend in Waterloo. The team played well and had a record of 3-1-1. In their first game friday they beat the London Nationals 4-1. In game two they blew out the Nickel City Flyers 8-1. On saturday they fought hard and tied a strong London Jr Knights Green team 0-0. In the final round robin game stratford held on to defeat Rideau St. Lawrence 3-1. With the win they advanced to the semis on sunday where they meet a well rounded team from Ancaster. Stratford could not find an anwser to the Avalanche as they fell 6-2. Ancaster went on to defeat the London Jr Knights Green 4-2 in the final. They represented them selves and the city of stratford with great sportsmanship all weekend. Great job boys, you made us proud.
