Bantams open season with 8-8 Tie
Canadian Tire Major Bantams opened their 2014-15 season Monday night at the Allman. Stratford's opener was against London Jr. Knights and resulted in an 8-8 tie. The Warriors had a 3-0 lead early in the first period before London got on the board, with the period ending in a 4-4 tie. London added to their tally taking a commanding 7-4 lead in the 3rd, but Stratford fought hard in the period to equalize. Max Hall and Jacob McPhee scored twice, with singles going to Brett Stelmachuck, Andrew Maguire, Liam Taylor, Sam Turner. Brayden Carnegie picked up 2 assists with Aaron Skinner, Dean Simons, Hayden Shantz adding one assist each.
Stratford was outshot 43-31 by the Knights.
