Warriors Start the season 3-0 with a complete team effort

The Warriors started at home against Waterloo Wolves with an enthusiastic 5-2 win on Saturday Sept 14th. 

The Warriors came out early with first period goals scored by Owen Martin, Colton Campbell, and Caleb Hurley. The second period saw goals from Campbell and Luke Hishon. Assists went to Ryan Watling, Ethan Bridges, Liam Micks, and Cohen Bowles. Goaltending was split between Mac Munro and Gibson Trotter.

In Sarnia on Sunday Sept 16th, the team powered through to a 7-1 win again with 3 first period goals scored by Ryder Duchesne, Campbell and Nick McGill. The Warriors added 4 more in the third with Hishon netting 2, Bridges, and Duchesne adding his second of the night. Assists went to Nate Meadows, Micks, Bowles, Martin and Hishon. Gibson Trotter earned the win in net.

Monday night the Warriors played host to Woodstock Navy Vets. Ryan Watling opened the scoring for the lone 1st period goal. Ethan Bridges scored 2 times in the middle frame with Ethan Schmidt and Hishon adding 3rd period markers. Assists went to Campbell, Bowles, Meadows, Martin, Saunder de Graauw, and Watling. Mac Munro earned the win in net with a strong effort on defense from Daxton Verspeeten.

The team is back in action on Sunday Sept 22nd when they host Burlington Jr Cougars Green - 12pm at RBC.
