for Sports Atom MD Warriors topped North London 4-3 in a thrilling finish in
Alliance minor hockey action in Stratford on Sunday afternoon.
Jordy Tessmer opened the scoring for Stratford, sliding one in just before the buzzer to give the Warriors a first period lead. London came roaring back with three goals in the second period and carried a 3-1 lead into the third. Sam Turner cut into London's lead from Joey Cassone early in the period and then Turner tied it on a power play from Aaron Skinner. Turner completed the natural hat trick with a minute left when he fired a shot just under the bar while shorthanded. Brayden Carnegie picked up an assist on the final goal. Danny Pacheco played solid between the pipes while Sean Petrie and Sam Wyatt had strong games defensively.
