Novice T1 lose playoff opener
The Hishons Custom Embroidery T1 Novice Warriors lost a hard-fought playoff battle with regular season champion London Bandits on Monday Night. Trailing 1-0 late in the game the Warriors gave up an empty net goal with just under a minute remaining. However, they bounced right back and scored a late goal of their own to set-up a wild finish but eventually lost 2-1. Camden Daigle scored late for the Warriors assisted by Luke de Vries and Brady Ballantyne while Stratford's netminding duo of Tallyn Soper and Kyle Powers were both sharp to keep the game close throughout. The Warrior skaters all battled hard in their first game of the playoff round-robin series.
