Warriors Reach 2nd Place in Division
With their sights set on catching London North in first place in the division, the Stratford Crabby Joes Minor Bantam Md team travelled to London to face the London Bandits Orange Team.  With a full squad hitting the ice, the Warriors took the game to London early but couldn't capitalize on any of their chances until a deflected shot by rookie Sam Knechtel made its way past the Bandits goalie with only 1:51 remaining in the first period.  Although Xavier Rutherford was not tested a lot, he did make some key saves in the second period to keep Stratford's lead despite London enjoying a 5 min power play.

Once Stratford killed off the penalty, Blake Keen scored an unassisted marker at the 7 minute mark in the second period. Trey Uniac continued his scoring touch at the 5 min point in period three to increase Stratford's lead by three.  Eric Brubacher played well on defense.  With Rutherford shutting the door the rest of the way to seal the shut out, Stratford gained 2 valuable points to take over second place in the division with a 3-0 win.
