Warriors Lose close one to Oakridge
The ' Canadian Tire' Major Bantam's lost 4-2 to Oakridge in game two of their semi finals. Stratford scored the lone goal of the first period when Brady Lauze took a rebound and fired it over the Oakridge goalie. Tristan Connolly and Josh Higgins assisted on the goal. Stratford took a 2-0 lead in the second on a power play when Connolly blasted a shot from the blue line Will Marcy and Owen McLeod assisted. Oakridge got on the scoreboard with 2.5 seconds left in the second when some sloppy play by Stratford resulted in a break away by three Oakridge players. Oakridge scored three unanswered goals in the third including an empty net to seal the win. Game three is on Sunday at Allman arena.
