Otto Powers Warriors Past West London
The Stratford Scotiabank Peewee Warriors played the second
of three straight games Sunday in London against the West London Hawks.
Struggling the find the consistency they were looking for in league play
recently, Zach Otto got the momentum on the Warriors side early, burying two
goals on the opening shift of the game. The Warriors relied on excellent team
defence and steady play from Mitch Watt the rest of the way to close out the
game with a 5-0 victory. It was Otto who kept the hot hand going, scoring two
more in the contest with Ethan Hill adding the other. Assists in the game went
to Gibb (2), Hall, Maguire and Hanson. Overall it was a better effort in this
contest and the Warriors will look to build on this as they close out the first
half of the season.
