Above minor novice Tier 3 Warriors played a pair of games over
the weekend.
In exhibition play on Saturday, the Warriors won 5-2 over the Mitchell Meteors. Jonas Schmidt had a hat trick in the win, with additional goals coming from Haden Frayne and Wesley Duiker. Avery Thurston, Ethan Martin, Owen Holloway, and Daniel Van Stratten each added an assist.
In league play Sunday, Stratford fell 7-3 to the West London Hawks. Martin had two goals and Van Stratten added a single. Thurston, Holloway, and Cole Meadows contributed assists. Goalie Jame Hopper played a strong game in net, and Duiker contributed a solid two-way effort.
