Minor Atom Warriors finalists in Preston Tournament.

Holloway Automotive Minor Atom Warriors lose a tough one in the championship at the Preston tournament this past weekend. 

Warriors kicked off the tournament defeating the Markham Islanders 3-1 with a hattrick from Cole Lewis,assists going to Danny Scott,Nole Musselman and Hudson Flood. Ewen Parsons played sharp between the pipes.Warriors defeat Welland Tigers 5-1 in the second game with 2 goals and an assist from Cole Lewis, 2 goals by Jacob Hall and 1 goal to Hudson Flood,assists going to Zach McCann with 2, Chadd Langlands,and Hudson Flood with 1 each. Sam Bolger played some gritty defense and Owen Davey was awesome in net.Game 3 , Warriors won 5-0 over the Cooksville Phantoms .2 goals and an assist for Cole Lewis 1 goal and 1 assist to Danny Scott and Nole Musselman,2 assists for Hudson flood and 1 assist to Zach McCann and Peter McIntosh.Great efforts up front by Alex Franke and Aubrey Carter.Shutout for Ewen Parsons.Semi final game, Warriors win a tough one to Aurora 4-3 in o.t. Down 2-0 ,Nole Musselman, strikes first in the comeback with an assist to Cole Lewis,then not long after Chadd Langlands goes to the net and ties it up at 2 on a rebound from Jacob Hall.Going down 3-2 in the 3rd,Jacob Hall ties it back up with a minute and a half left with sweet assists going to Chadd Langlands and Zach McCann.2 shifts in o.t. Nole Musselman puts home the winner from Jacob Hall.Owen Davey keeping us in the game in net.Connor McIntosh playing very aggressive on "D".Championship game once again warriors down 2-0 start coming back with Zach McCann getting the puck off the London Nationals defence and breaking in with a goal up top. A minute later Cole Lewis fires one at the net from the left boards and Chadd Langlands blasting the rebound. We then went down 4-2 in the 3rd when Cole Lewis made it 4-3 and the Nationals putting in the insurance to defeat the warriors 5-3.Great efforts from Ethan Scrimgeour up front and strong defence by Issac Deline.The warriors came second in Preston giving them 2 championship finals this year with their win in Newmarket,we are very proud of these minor atom rep warriors this year, keep it going boys.!!
