Atom Warriors going to the Championship
Submitted by Rob Fitzgerald
Perth Auto Dismantlers Atom Warriors take the Semi finals 7 points to 1, defeating the season first place Kitchener Jr Rangers, 4-1.
Jacob Hall started it off, turning the puck over in the neutral zone and breaking in and pulling a sweet deke. Chadd Langlands passes it up the boards for Ethan Scrimgeour, who races down on a break and fires it upstairs. Lots of end to end play until the Rangers take a penalty. Warriors getting lots of chances with Cole Lewis fighting behind the net. Lewis gets the puck to Hall who throws a bouncer across the middle to Langlands who shoots it up over the glove of the Ranger net minder. The Rangers get 1 back, pulling their goalie with 4 plus minutes left. James Cormier-Hazen makes a save and tips it to Sam Bolger who shoots one end to end into the open net. Connor McIntosh and Issac Deline were awesome on D. Aubrey Carter, Matthew Barber, Hudson Flood, Nole Musselman, Alex Franke, and Zach McCann played tough all series as well as Cormier-Hazen and Owen Davey between the pipes. The Warriors now get a bit of a breather while they wait to see who wins between Burlington and the London Mustangs, to fight for the Bristol Cup.
GO WARRIORS!!!
